How amazing that something so magical
How sad that our children grow up
Four years spent
Intellectually
artistically
How amazing that something
is so ordinary.
How sad that our children grow up
even sadder that we rush them.
Four years spent
taking pictures
trying to hold onto something
that
by its nature
is forever
beyond grasping.
